There are some confusing misconceptions about base, stock, and proprietary formulas. At Wasatch, we have many base formulas, but calling them “stock” creates confusion. These base formulas are only 60% complete. We work with our clients to bring them up to 100% proprietary. That means that any other client who selected the same base formula will not have a similar product when their formula is complete. In fact, we don’t even design close duplicates.
Don’t confuse “base formula” with “stock formula.” At Wasatch, we only design proprietary formulas using base formulas. We have no stock formulas.
